Probably the most cliché picture on my site, only because I am from west Texas.
I took this picture while standing across a busy street in Havana. We waved at each other, she smiled, I clicked. I think some of the elements from this photo will really humble you: the plastic bags hanging on the clothesline.
Through the Fence
I captured this image while walking around Havana, Cuba. I like the leading lines the photo has, and that the subject isn’t ordinary.
I made this my mission while in Cuba. I wanted to capture an image of a local woman in a taxi- Amelia was a dream com true for this shot! Muchas Gracias, Bonita <3
In an attempt to capture a street view of the capital, I got more of a glimpse of everyday life in Havana in this shot.
While walking around Old Havana, I snapped this image as this car turned the corner.
Taken with a 50mm against a wooden wall as a Professional headshot for this site’s editor, Luis.
This photo was kind of a “happy accident”. In trying to capture the two bulls pulling the cart, I was lucky and got an old car, too. Regardless, I like all the elements of time that this photo possesses.
This Retro sign is located in Marfa, Texas.
Kody with Horse
Another senior photo for Kody- My favorite element is how the light hits the saddle in this image.
Shooting these Gothic Style churches can be tricky due to the lack of light, but they truly are gorgeous. They are one of my favorite things to shoot because they are just a tad “eerie” yet still ornate.
Captured this shot during a senior photo session.
A senior portrait for Caleb.
Astronomical Clock Tower in Prague
This structure contains the elevator that goes to the top of Prague’s famous Astrological clock- It’s worth the trip!
The Ponte Vecchio (Italian for “Old Bridge”) is a medieval stone closed-spandrel segmental arch bridge over the Arno River, in Florence, Italy, noted for still having shops built along it (as it was once common).
Happiness = Coffee
The setting for this photo was on the porch of an abandoned house on a cold and wet day. Thank you Molly and Jenna, you girls were great!
Shot in Black and White and just as classy as the city it calls home. Plus, the couple in the corner really adds to the atmosphere.
A shot of this iconic monument from a different angle, in the dark.
Steely is so photogenic!
Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore
“Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Flowers” is the main church of Florence, Italy. “Il Duomo di Firenze”, as it is ordinarily called, was begun in 1296 in the Gothic style design, and completed structurally in 1436 with the famous red dome.
Paris is such a romantic city…I’m not sure if the Seine River isn’t one of the most romantic things to see while you’re there.
La Sagrada Familia
Construction of Barcelona’s La Sagrada Familia began in 1882, and continues to this day. It’s expected completion date is sometime in 2020 (over 135 years from the start date)…which is actually right on time for a Cathedral of its size.
Inside the Barcelona Cathedral
As if the outside of this place wasn’t breathtaking enough…
It may come as a surprise to you, but this photo was actually snapped while leaving an old cemetery on the outskirts of Boston.
Iconic, of course. I really wanted to capture the nightlife that surrounded this monument, so I used a tripod to shoot this moment.
Molly and Jenna
A shot through the grass at Molly and Jenna.
An empty church in the quaint little German town of Esslingen.
La Sagrada Familia
A street view of one of Spain’s most recognizable landmarks. Perhaps what makes this cathedral so famous is that it was largely designed by the famous Spanish architect, Antoni Gaudí and reflects his colorful style in most aspects. This shot gives you a feel for the size of the structure.
Typically smiling and upbeat, this photo snapped during an outdoor session was a change of pace.
